Ferret card has been a proud sponsor of two fresh week campaigns with The University of Toronto and Ryerson University, Miss Toronto Chinese Pageant and partnered with Z103.5 on both an 8-week advertising campaign and an exclusive promo where they gave away an Audi A4 and an all-inclusive trip to Mexico. It was through their event, hosted this past Sunday December 2nd, at the Shangri-la Banquet Hall that they took the opportunity to thank their existing merchants for supporting them in their first 6 months of operation, share their plans for the future and present the two winners from their radio giveaway campaign. With a total of over 850 registered merchants in just 6 months, Ferret Card rightfully had much to celebrate and shared that in order to continue their momentum, they plan to build upon their newest premium feature called diamond stamps – an opportunity for members to redeem diamond stamps they earned at premium merchants, at the virtual ferret card store, and exchange their stamps for a number of amazing prizes, including a TV, designer sunglasses, an iPhone5 and more.
Ferret Card also took the opportunity to encourage their guests and participating merchants to network and participate in helpful workshops, structured to help them assess their current strengths and weaknesses, identify the thoughts and behaviours that act as self-blocks to their own growth and success and via a virtual talk by the world-renowned Dame DC Cordova, recognize the support system they’ve acquired by joining the ferret cad program and ultimately maximize their potential through ownership and engagement of the platform and all of its features.
With the highlight of the event being the presentation of ferret card’s Z103.5 contest winners, the crowd definitely left on a high note. Bringing Kyle, the winner of the all-inclusive trip to Mexico (audio clips attached) up on stage first, and then Stephanie, the winner of the Audi A4 up second, us ferret card employees felt good about participating in the general theme of giving for this month’s upcoming holiday. Touched by Stephanie’s story, our CEO, Dr.Annie Lim decided that in addition to the luxury car, Stephanie would also walk away with a $500 cheque towards gas, insurance or any other car expenses she will likely come across. Her humility, gratitude and appreciation touched us all and we couldn’t be happier that she was the winner.
As we come closer to the year-end, we reflect on this past year and look forward to all that the new year holds for us, our participating merchants and of course the numerous members that are registering each and every day.
