Below is a brief description of features and functions of each tab in your Merchant Online Platform.

 

Home

  • Your main page to enter customer’s membership number to award stamps or redeem rewards.
  • Overview of your latest customer reviews, number of members who added you as their Favourite store.

Profile

  • View your business profile.
  • Edit Profile to modify description, category, address, map, contact number etc.
  • Add New Location if you are a franchise and have more than one store.

Merchant User

  • Create user logins with multiple levels of control or permissions for your employees:
  • Create New User, select User Type and create preferred log-in usernames and password for each employee.
  • User Access Permission Types:

Rewards

  • View the list of rewards available in your store. You can create as many as you like.
  • Add New Rewards - Create new rewards.
  • Details - View details of individual rewards (e.g. terms and conditions).
  • Modify - Modify the details of each reward (including redemption levels).
  • Delete - Delete existing rewards.

Specials (Targeted Ads)

  • Create optional Specials (or targeted ads). Your ads only appear to customers you want to reach. You can target them by age, location, interest and much more.
  • Works for any budget and you pay only if a customer views or claims your ad.
  • Create New Special - Create your own customized ads and set your own budget.
  • View (Transaction) - View the effectiveness of your promotion and the response.
  • View (Settings) - View the details of each Special created.
  • Delete - Delete existing specials.

Credit Management

  • View credit balance and credit history (*if applicable).
  • Add Credit to add funds to your advertising project (*optional).
  • Apply Premium Merchant for optional Premium services (*optional).
  • *Premium services and targeted ads are optional features available to fit any budget.

Stamp Exchange

  • View stamp exchange balances.
  • Add Stamps to the stamp exchange pool if you prefer.
  • During sign-up, 10 gold and 10 silver stamps from your store are added to the stamp exchange pool. You may add more stamps if you prefer. Note: The total number of stamps is controlled by you and will never exceed what you have given out.

Reports

  • Select reporting period to view reports of your customer activities and stamp transactions.
  • *Only report aggregates are shown. Merchants do not have access to individual customer information or activity due to our strict privacy policy.

 

 Online-Platform Related FAQ

Q: Why are my Reports not showing anything? It is empty and doesn’t show any data.
A: This can be due to several reasons – 1)You may not have any Ferret Card customers yet, you have not issued or scanned any cards/smart phones or you have not gave out any stamps to any Ferret Card members. 2) There is not enough data to generate the reports. Once you have several customers using Ferret Card in your store, the Reports can then be generated.

Q: Can I assign different permission levels to my staff to prevent misuse of the stamps and reward system?
A: Yes, you can assign different user log-ins and password for your employees with different permission levels. See Merchant User Access Permission.

Q: Can I create multiple usernames and separate log-ins for my staff ?
A: Yes, you can assign different user log-ins and password for your employees with different permission levels. See Merchant User Access Permission.

Q: How can I update or make a correction to my store details (eg. address, map, phone, description etc.)
A: Log into your Online Merchant Account, go to Profile and make the changes as necessary.

Q: Can I change my store icon?
A: Yes, you can do that in Profile.

Q: Can I modify my stamp rewards once they are created? Can I create multiple rewards and multiple types of reward redemptions?
A: Yes, you can do that in Rewards section.

Q: Can I create multiple rewards and multiple types of reward redemptions?
A: Yes, you can do that in Rewards section.

Q: Can I set black-out time or days for reward redemptions? (e.g. not redeemable on Sat. and Sun.)
A: Yes, you can set the requirements, terms and conditions when you create your rewards  in Rewards section. You can also modify them as necessary after creating the rewards.

Q: How does Stamp Exchange work? Can it be abused? Will it increase the redemption cost of my business?
